Twisted Tower – A Personal Review (Demo Version)

I recently played the demo version of Twisted Tower on Steam, and here’s my experience.

Developer: Atmos Games, LLC

Publisher: 3D Realms

From the moment I entered the game, I was impressed by the graphics and physics. The game runs smoothly, and the controls feel well optimized. My first thought? This game reminded me a lot of BioShock 1, and as I progressed, that feeling stayed with me.

Overall, Twisted Tower delivers a solid experience—good controls, good physics, and enjoyable combat. However, I did encounter some minor issues. When enemies shot at me, I found it difficult to aim steadily, which made combat feel a bit frustrating at times. I also noticed a few mesh bugs in certain areas, where character faces stretched awkwardly. While these aren't game-breaking, they did break immersion slightly.

One issue I faced was when I tried changing the graphics settings—the game got stuck and crashed, forcing me back to the desktop. This was frustrating, especially since I was just trying to optimize the experience.

Hopefully, this will be fixed in the final version.

Since this is only the demo, I hope these small issues get polished before the full release. Despite that, Twisted Tower has a lot of potential, and I’m looking forward to seeing how the final game turns out!
